Last night I heard about the State Department granting a visa for Iran's ex-president to come to the United States and attend meetings at the UN. Yes, we all know that Iran is a Terrorist State, supports terrorist groups, want to become part of the nuclear club, and is one of the Axis of Evil. One crazy stop of the trip is meeting with Jimmy Carter. The same Jimmy Carter who lost re-election for President of the United States over the Iranian Embassy Hostage crisis.

Excuse me?

I know the man is a narcissist and is trying every opportunity to stay relevant and in the news. He is also a Bush critic and tries to undermine Bush whenever he can. But meet with the leader of the foreign terrorist regime that was responsible to your landslide election lost.

Regarding the State Department granting him a visa. Khatami is the former president of the country and does deserve some diplomatic courtesies. But his visa has no restrictions and the State Department will be providing security at US taxpayer expense. This is the same State Department that disclosed Valerie Plame's identity and hung Rove and Libby out to dry. The same State Department that condemns Israel for defending themselves.

I think Bush needs to purge both the State Department and the CIA of partisans. The staff of both these agencies must be taught that their job is to support and accomplish the vision and policies of the President, not the party they belong to.

The Clueless LA Times Writer

Yep, picking on the LA Times has been a popular topic of this blog, and yes it is a very easy topic, but after reading an article in this past Sunday's Current Section by a LA Times editorial writer Karin Kline, it just shows how far the LA Times is lost in LA LA Land. She lives in Laguna Beach, CA, a very expensive and liberal beach enclave in Southern Orange County. She is blaming Proposition 13 for the schools charging her fees and requiring "donation" for lockers, sports, textbooks, and bus transportation, etc; "$800 in checks for a free and public education." She is complaining about "people whose houses are worth $2 million but who think that because they've owned them for 30 years, they should balk at paying more than $750 or so in property taxes on them."

She works for a news organization who supports an open boarder policy which floods local school districts will children of illegal aliens. Children of people who are violating State and Federal laws illegally entering and working in this country. Michael Hiltzik, another columnist who works for the Times, conservatively estimates that illegal aliens are responsible for $4.6 billion dollars of the 2003 California State budget. That's roughly 5% of the budget. Since Proposition 98 requires roughly 50% of the State budget to be spent on education, $50 billion dollars, wouldn't an additional 10% of funding help?

I don't know the how much money is spent on illegals by the California Budget is not required by Federal Law, but let's assume it's half of that $4.6 billion dollars. Let's also assume that 10% of the school children are here illegally. By enforcing immigration laws, school funding could be effectively boosted by 15%.

Maybe when she writes her next article about illegal immigration, she should ask one simple question. Why do so many members of the California Legislature vote for so many benefits for people who are in this Country illegally and can't vote?

Wow, I would have never guess that a Carter appointed judge found the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) unconstitutional. Several people and pundits have completely blasted the opinion as a political diatribe. Even the Washington Post thought the opinion was a joke. The most basic part of the opinion regarding standing of the ACLU. The judge said they can sue even thought they were not harmed????

How can you sue for if you are not an aggrieved party?

LA Times puff piece on SLA prisoner

The LA Times had a Column One puff piece on former SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) member Sara Jane Olsen, AKA Kathleen Soliah. It talks about her time in prison doing nothing and having to be classified a "Close A", requiring the most security. She complains about her failing health, ..... blah, blah, blah.

Where is the article about the family who she was convicted of killing. How she and her comrades robbed a bank and shotgunned a lady with her church collection deposit? The victim, Myrna Opsahl has no senior health issues, because she is DEAD! Nowhere in the article is there any mention of restitution to the Opsahl family. Sara Jane Olsen has a Doctor for a husband. They spent all their money defending her, so they may not have any left. Why hasn't she made any offers of reparations to the Opsahl Family?

Ethic Profiling... a reality that must be accepted

It is time to ignore the ACLU and CAIR ( Counsel of American-Islamic Relations) and institute ethinic/religious profiling. The simple reality is that not all muslim are terrorist, but all terrorist are muslims. Over the last 30 years or so, the only group that have blown up planes, trains, building and themselves are 18-40, male muslims. But the latest plot with the airplanes is another attempt to blow up multiple airplanes as suicide bombers. 9/11, the trains in Madrid, and the buses in London were all suicide bomber.

They have not been a bunch of grandmothers and blond haired, blue eyed girls acting as suicide bombers. ( See yesterday's post) Yes, this decision will make the lives of 90% in the innocent muslims miserable, but there is a simple solution for them. TURN IN THE RADICALS FROM YOUR MOSQUE!!!

If you have radicals in your mosque, join them, spy on them, turn them it. When the 90% start acting like responsible citizens of the civilized world, they will be treated as such. Remember, CAIR has funded Hamas and Hezbollah. The ACLU has defended the worst member of society, Neo-Nazi, murderers, and child molesters. They can't be trusted.

April 1983: Muslim Extremist bombed the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon killing 16 Americans.

October 1983: Muslim Extremist (Hezbollah) blew up a US Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon killing 241 Marines.

December 1983: Muslim Extremist blew up the US Embassy in Kuwait killing 5 and injuring 80.

September 1984: Muslim Extremist (Hezbollah) blew up a bomb at the US Embassy Annex in Beirut, Lebanon killing 24 people including two US Servicemen.

December 1984: Muslim extremists hijacked a Kuwait Airways airplane, landed in Iran and demanded the release of the 17 members of al-Dawa who had been arrested for the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, killing two Americans before the siege was over.

June 14, 1985: Muslim extremists (Hezbollah) hijacked TWA Flight 847 out of Athens, diverting it to Beirut, taking the passengers hostage in return for the release of the Kuwait 17 as well as another 700 prisoners held by Israel. When their demands were not met, the Muslims shot U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem and dumped his body on the tarmac.

October 1985: Muslim extremists (Palestine Liberation Front backed by Libya) seized an Italian cruise ship, the Achille Lauro, killing 69-year-old wheelchair bound American Leon Klinghoffer (who was Jewish) by shooting him and then tossing his body overboard.

February 1993: Muslim extremists (al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, possibly with involvement of friendly rival al-Qaida) set off a bomb in the basement of the World Trade Center, killing six and wounding more than 1,000.

November 1995: Muslim extremists (possibly Iranian "Party of God") explode a car bomb at U.S. military headquarters in Saudi Arabia, killing five U.S. military servicemen.

June 1996: Muslim extremists (13 Saudis and a Lebanese member of Hezbollah, probably with involvement of al-Qaida) explode a truck bomb outside the Khobar Towers military complex, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring hundreds.

August 1998: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) explode truck bombs at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 and injuring thousands.October 2000: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) blow up the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole, killing 17 U.S. sailors.

Sept. 11, 2001: Muslim extremists (al-Qaida) hijack commercial aircraft and fly planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 Americans.

July 2006: Hezbollah crosses over the Israeli border, kills two soldiers and kidnaps another 2 soldiers. They start launching rockets into Israel and now want a cease fire after the Israeli Army stormed into Lebanon and started wiping out Hezbollah.

Notice a pattern? So why are we so hesitant from engaging in muslim profiling?

Lanny Davis discovers liberal smear campaigns

I just finished reading the article by Lanny Davis, former Clinton Special consul, regarding the anti-war far left attacks on Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. He essentially states that he thought bigotry, hate, and smear only come from the right wing. HA!!!! What a crock!! He was the Clinton mouth piece that defended Slick Willy's boorish behavior toward women and constantly attack Ken Starr for being a partisan. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Davis spent the last three years of the Clinton Presidency deflecting the inquiries into Slick Willy's behavior and ethics from the Special Prosecutor.

Doesn't Lanny know James Carville or Paul Begala? Does he remember the constant attacks and false accusation of leaks he made against Ken Starr? Doesn't Lanny remember the smears and attacks the Clinton war room produced against all of Bill's opponents? He was their Chief defender on the Sunday morning talk show circuit. He and his allies in the Clinton White House raised the vitriol and smear campaign against opponents to a level that would make Nixon blush.

I just saw the most informative video on You Tube. It show that most western journalist are lazy and buy into the Arab point of view regarding the Israeli/Arab conflicts. The video proves that most scene of Israeli "war crimes" and "aggression" are actually staged scenes for the western media. The cameramen are usually Arab using western media supplied equipment, wearing the name of the channel that will be broadcasting the video. My favorite part is the video shot by a UAV of so "pall bearers"carrying a "dead victim" to a demonstration. They drop the "body" who suddenly makes a miraculous recovery and get back on the gurney all by himself. These clowns drop him, not once, twice, but three times on the way to the funeral. And the "dead guy" always climbs back on the gurney and places the flag over his body on his own power.

This video, combined with the doctored Reuters photos by Adnan Hajj, Baghdad Bob, the "massacre" at Jenin, the "slaughter" at Qana, the number of death in the town of Houla, 40 to only 1, unluckiest multiple home owner in Beirut. I have come to the conclusion, that since the Arabs can't win the military battles, they are going to win the PR ones. All with the help of the Drive-By-Media.

I was very happy to find out that Reuters did the right thing when they fired and purged all the file photographs of their former freelance photographer Adnan Hajj. Another faked photo of his was found in Reuters archive (h/t Michelle Malkin) Another blog has found the unluckiest multiple home owner in Beirut. Same woman, same scar on left cheek, same mark under right eye. Powerline Blog has found another dubious Hajj photo. Same building (very distinct paint job), same destruction, different dates. How is that possible?

You gotta love the internet. Fake photos, Arab PR hacks, duplicate victims, and the willing Drive-By-Media allows this propaganda to continue.

Saving Private Ryan, the self-sacrificing the members of the military........ Why don't liberals get it???

I just caught the beginning of "Saving Private Ryan" again. The opening scene of the cemetery at Normandy and the attack on Omaha Beach just drives me to tears. I can't watch that movie anymore. Why don't the anti-military liberals understand the sacrifice our soldiers made and make to allow them to be such assholes? Hollyweird has made a fortune with war movies, yet the Left wing wackos who run the place hate the very people who make them rich. Cindy Sheehan, Nancy Pelosi, Michael Moore, the Democratic Party, don't they understand the Military is the only thing that has prevented us from speaking German, Russian, or Arabic.

I have always known about the nature of war and have always loved he Military. I have understood on an intellectual level the carnage of Normandy, but "Ryan" takes it to a new level.

A Chicken Hawk's retort

I am sick and tired of all the liberal spin doctors, reporters, talking heads, pundits, and talk show callers blasting the President, Veep, et al, for being a chicken hawk. They have to be reminded that Bush 43 served in the National Guard (which is not good enough since, JFKerry served for 9 months on Vietnam).

I will just ask any liberal who blasts President Bush 43 about his vote for Bob Dole, injured WW2 vet over Slick Willy, an admitted draft dodger. Or his vote for Bush 41, WW2 pilot shot down in the Pacific.

Then ask them would they vote for John McCain, a Vietnam POW, over Hillary?
