So now you, Newt, are using phrases to "making too much money" and things like that attacking Romney. As a self proclaimed Conservative, you should believe making money is NOT a bad thing. Adam Carolla, who I am not a fan of may have accidentally swerved into the thought process of the OWS crowd.

They are the first generation, who are now adults, of the "Participation Award" parenting philosophy. This group, the "99%" have been raised under the theory, no one is better than any other, you don't have too work hard for you accomplishments, etc.

He may have explained is best with this example. When I was growing up, when Mr Smith drove by in his Rolls, my father told me about how hard Mr. Smith hard to work to get that car, and if I wanted than expensive cars, I would have to work hard to EARN it. The OWS crowd was raised with the philosophy, that everyone should get that expensive car, just for participation. You didn't have to earn it, you deserve it, just because you attended.

I read a great article by the Ace of Spades blog about President Obama's speech on the raid on Usama's Bin Laden's compound. It was called "Obama's self-aggrandizing 'I was practically there, man' speech." Victor Davis Hansen has highlighted all the first person references.

“Tonight, I can report . . . And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta . . . I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden . . . I met repeatedly with my national security team . . . I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action. . . . Today, at my direction . . . I’ve made clear . . . Over the years, I’ve repeatedly made clear . . . Tonight, I called President Zardari . . . and my team has also spoken. . .These efforts weigh on me every time I, as Commander-in-Chief . . . Now compare that with the speech given By President Bush on December 14, 2003:

I have waited a little while before relaying my comments of the Lakers pitiful performance in this year's NBA playoffs. I have listened to the "pundits" and "experts" on Talk Radio and I have to agree with one thing only, blow up the team. Ans let's start with Kobe. I will never forgive him for forcing Jerry Buss to ship Shaq to the Heat for essentially Lamar Odom.

Look, Kobe, there are many 6'-6" shooting guards like you who can put up your points and play the "D" you can play. How many 7'-0", 350lb, mobile power centers are there?

Also Kobe, when Phil Jackson came in to coach the team, he coached a team with probably the greatest basketball player ever, someone who you will never be. He coached that team to 6 ring, two three-peats, and you still thought you knew more about B-ball than him. If you would have kept you ego in check, you and Shaq would have gotten 6 in a row!!!!

"Friday Night Lights" Series Finale

Last night was the series finale of Friday Night Lights, which was based on a book and movie about a High School football team in Texas. The show was a critical success but a ratings failure since it has a a small, but devoted fan base.

The series revolves around Coach Eric Taylor, his family, the players, their families, and how the entire football crazy town lives and dies on the success of the Dillon Panthers.

I liked the show because it shows how the Coach touches the lives of his players and the lesson they learn as a team will influence the decision they make the rest of their lives. As a Coach myself, I find this appealing.

They wrapped up the series showing the team playing in the State Championship and what the happens after that game. Most of the things made sense. Coach and his wife moved to Philadelphia because Mrs. Taylor was offered a job she couldn't refuse and coach Taylor took a job coaching a poor school in Philly. Julie Taylor, his daughter, moved to Chicago to be with her high school sweetheart, who proposed to her. The star quarterback will lead the combined super-team during his Senior year to take a shot at winning a second State Championship. The angry, brooding fullback started to build the house of his dreams on a piece of empty land. These all made sense.

The only epilogue that I didn't like was for Luke Cafferty. At one point, he was being recruited by a D1 school and was being pursued hard by a D3 school. But he wasn't feeling it for the D3 school and I guess the D1 school lost interest. So he ends up joining the Army to get out of town. WTF? This kid is a Marine, if anything. At least they showed him with a Ranger Patch. Granted, he is too young to be allowed to join the Rangers as well as not having enough experience.

Central Valley = Death Valley

I find it a bit ironic that the State of California has a major self-inflicted financial wound that is fixable, and yet refuses to do so. The former Guvenator turned off the major source of water to the Central Valley to protect a non-native fish, the Delta Smelt. The water has been used by farmers in the central valley to grow annual crops as well as fruit/nut bearing trees. Almond, pistachios, grape orchards, that take years to grow, were killed since protecting this fish is more important than growing food.

So how does this help California's perpetual budget problems? Simple, growing crops, fruits, and nuts generate sales, which generates taxes. Then someone needs to employs workers to plant, harvest, and process the crops. This in turn generates income taxes from the wages of the employees. All of these taxes would help reduce (possible eliminate) the budget problem. So does Governor Moonbeam start the water flowing? Nope!!!

One more thing, another person has suggested the people behind this decision are sacrificing the Central Valley to "save" the Bay Area. Diverting the water through the Delta, increases the flow to the San Fransisco Bay. That additional volume help with the processed sewage that is pumped in to the Bay. It reduces the bacteria count and therefore "improve" the water quality in the Bay.

Election Night TV coverage.

I spent some time last night watching the TV coverage. Flipping between Fox News and most of the time watching (P)MS-NBC. Watching MS-LDS was mostly for a sense a schaden-freude, and could not stop laughing.

Another thing I noticed when watching (P)MS-NBC, their analysis panel consisted of Laurence "The Screamer" O' Donnell; Eugene Robinson, opinion writer for the Washington (Com)Post; Chris "Thrill up my leg" Matthews; Keith Overbite; and Rachel Madcow.

Chris was so visibly upset/depressed over the results was almost sad watching, ALMOST. Then there was his interview with Michelle Bachmann, she obviously couldn't hear the questions that he repeated and he blamed it on someone hypnotizing her.

Then not wanting be to our-done, Keith mentioned how many of the "old bulls" were being voted out, except for one, "Michelle Bachmann"

There has been many thing said about the Anointed One winning the Nobel Peace Prize. When a reporter called the White house to inform them of the news, the aid who answered the phone reportedly said, " It is April 1st."

Nobel Prize Committee Chairman Thorbjorn Jagland said that The Anointed one was awarded the prize for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons."

So he is being awarded the Peace prize for his EFFORTS, not accomplishments.

Wow, let's list a few other recent recipients of the Peace Prize. Al Gore over his EFFORTS to end Global Warming. Do I even need to say anything about Jimmy Carter, same goes for Yasser Arafat.

I can guarantee, Slick Willie is steaming, thinking, "WTF, did Barry do to deserve it? What about my Tsunami Relief Fund Raising efforts? The Clinton Global Initiative, my effort to end global warming? I tried to solve the Middle Eat Peace by trying for force Ehud to accept what Yasser's demands" which by the way started the Second Intifada!!!

Another person was quoted saying, "Imagine the reaction if they announced that this year's Nobel Prize in Medicine went to a professor who claimed that in the coming year he would work with others, and they would cure cancer." You know, for his EFFORTS to cure cancer.

I guess I should be awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics for my macroeconomic EFFORTS to get increase my net worth.

Proof tha Obama hates the Military

The Obama Administration is considering billing private health insurance companies the cost of treating wounded veterans. According to this plan, the Veteran's Administration, which has been providing health care to wounded veterans, per the promise made to the American Soldier to take car of them after they get wounded in battle, would collect from the private insurance companies the cost of providing medical for these veterans after they return to civilian life. HUH? The whole purpose of the VA is to provide free health care to all veterans wounded during active duty. Now they want to transfer the cost to private companies.....

Could this be a precursor to Universal Health care?

In California, the gays and lesbian have essentially the same as marriage, it's called a civil union/domestic partnership. The Proposition 8 battle was over the word and usage of the word "marriage". The gay/lesbian rights activist are demanding the right to use the word "marriage", to get government issued marriage licenses, and to have the State recognize their wedding/civil union/domestic partnership as a marriage.

But gay/lesbian rights activists have not used the political process to attain this goal, they have used the courts. If the gay rights activist would use the legislative/initiative process to pass a law or make a constitutional amendment via the popular vote, it would mean that society as a whole believes they are being discriminated against. The gay rights activists chose not do this, because they KNOW will lose every time. The constitutional right to be married was not won through the legislative/political, but through the judicial fiat. This forces the gay/lesbian rights activist demands on a majority of society without any input of society.

Do the gay/lesbian rights activists really think society will accept them with open arms because a court forces them? Do you think this might cause more animosity and hate, since THEIR minority view was forced on the majority?

Win your point of view through the legislative process, convince the majority your point of view is correct, then society will accept them.

The crazy part, which just show how weak the gay right activist arguments are, you cannot get a gay marriage law passed in California or any Blue state. One has to ask yourself..............

Why?

If such a massively supported civil right is being denied, why will no legislature pass that law? Why won't a majority in California or any legislature pass a law and make such a bold statement about "equal rights?" What the gay rights activist fail to understand, they are not asking for equal rights or civil rights, they are demanding special rights, ones that they are forcing on the rest of society against the collective will of the people. That is not democracy, that is a dictatorship.

Since no legislative body will do it, I think that says it all.

I would argue that racism is essentially dead since a black man was elected president.

Several Demographic groups have immigrated to this country over the last 100 years and have been successful within three generations. Only 60 years ago, the American Citizens of Japanese decent were interned, against their will, for being the wrong color, and they have fully integrated into American society. The Vietnamese flooded this country in the 70's and after the fall of Saigon and the kids of those immigrants are doctors, lawyer, even politicians. Neither of these groups are white! You can easily spot them in the crowd since they look different, yet each successive generation is more successful than the prior generation.

So one has to ask yourself, why has the Black population continue to stagnate and not make wholesale improvements, generation after generation? It's not due to racism or slavery.

Slavery ended over 150 years ago. The last slave died at least 50 years ago. When will the excuse of slavery be too old to blame for the plight of Blacks in America?

I think it's something else......

I do think they are intentionally kept down, by others of their own race and the liberal policies "designed" to help them.

Fannie and Freddie did this by becoming a key enabler of the mortgage crisis. They fueled Wall Street's efforts to securitize subprime loans by becoming the primary customer of all AAA-rated subprime-mortgage pools. In addition, they held an enormous portfolio of mortgages themselves.

The quasi-governmental Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac donated toms of money to Democrats, like Chris Dodd, Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee (who received the most money), Barack Obama (who received the second most money), and Hilary Clinton. They opposed a bill, sponsored by John McCain that would have regulated Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to tightly. The bill was proposed after an accounting scandal that resulted in the resignation of former Fannie Mae Chairman, Franklin Raines. The same Franklin Raines that advises Barack Obama on mortgage and financial issues.

So, B. Hussein Obama has picked Senator Joe Biden as his Veep. Biden a 6 term senator from Delaware with many years as the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, actually has a better resume than Obama. The choice of Biden acknowledges that Obama has a few glaring weaknesses, especially in the foreign policy area as well as the way of navigating the Beltway. Biden will be able to steer legislation and help Obama work with and get legislation passed through the halls of Congress. In many ways, the pundits view the choice as very similar to W's choice of Cheney as VP.
So, where are the calls for the "gravitas" of the choice of Biden? The choice was universally praised by the pundits as the Obama campaign's acknowledgment of the perceived weakness. These pundits all gushed that Biden will help steady the ticket with the Russian Bear bearing it's teeth.
Still no mention of gravitas and comparisons to W's choice of Cheney.

There has been quite a lot of coverage the who B. Hussain Obama will be picking for VP. Will it be another Washington outsider the Virginia's Govenor Tim Kaine? Or will it Former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn, a conservative leaning Southerner? Or possibly John Kerry, be cause he almost won last time and has that magic hat? Or Delaware Senator Joe Biden for his is foreign policy experience and ability to plagiarize better than anyone in the Senate? But one thing missing in all this discussion is the phrase, "Gravitas." The Drive-By-media was always talking about G.W. Bush's lack of gravitas and his need for a steady guiding hand for VP. W was considered too much of a lightweight, inexperienced despite the fact he was the two term Governor of Texas.
Let's compare B. Hussain Obama experience to W's. Barry served 143 days in the Senate before he announced his candidacy for the President. He was a community organizer, like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Najee Ali in Chicago. He was an Illinois State Senator who vote "present" 129 times on various controversial issues, so he would upset anyone.
So why is there no mention of the lack of "gravitas" with Obama? Is it because he is a Democrat?

There was a very interesting comment by a reported about the Auto industry. It the technology for electric/hybrid/plug-in cars was so readily available, why aren't they being used in Europe and Japan? Gas is about $10 a gallon in those countries. If this technology is already here and viable, why haven't the "superior" engineers and designer of Germany and Japan used them yet?

On July 8th, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi asked President Bush to make a small withdrawal from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

"The severe energy price crisis facing millions of Americans compels strong presidential action to assist consumers and strengthen the economy," Pelosi said in her letter, which asked Bush to "draw down a small portion" of the country's oil reserve.

The House Republican leadership responded to Pelosi's proposal by noting that she was supporting a supply increase — something the Republicans have rallied behind in the form of increased offshore drilling, which the Democrats oppose.

Little dis she realize that she has just acknowledged that increasing the supply of oil will lower gas prices. But since she and the Democrats in Congress, who are held hostage by the Environmental Lobby, refuse to allow drilling for more oil, which would increase the supply of oil and LOWER GAS PRICES. Therefore, the Democrats in Congress actually support higher gas prices.

Congress's moratorium on offshore drilling is now the last major political barrier to increasing domestic oil-and-gas production. Yet Democratic leaders have refused to schedule even a single hearing on the topic.

So one has to ask yourself, why should President Bush help the Democrats in congress by increasing the supply of oil and lowering gas prices, just in time for the November Elections and helping get democrats elected?

Rush spent some time going over how various MSNBC programs were dealing yesterday with the New Yorker Magazine cover cartoon, and calling on Democrat operatives and Drive-By journalists to explain why The New Yorker had missed the mark with this particular piece of political satire. Limbaugh played soundbites from several of them commenting on the fact that the satire — with the right wing as its target, not the Obamas — would have been more clear and understood had the cartoonist made the caricature of the Obama’s a painting being done by Limbaugh, thereby making a claim that it was Limbaugh leading the parade to paint Obama as a Muslim and his wife as a left-wing revolutionary.

So, what does Limbaugh say — beyond soaking up all this adulation and attention from MSNBC?? — he mentions as an aside that the whole episode reminded him of the famous Danish cartoons of the prophet Mohammad, an the outrage they engendered.

Outrage that came from …… MUSLIMS.

Obama and his campaign are complaining over this cartoon by the New Yorker just like the Muslims complained about the Danish cartoonist.

As expected, Scalia was listed as the Worst Person in the world for writing the opinion that the 2nd amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms for the purposes of self-defense and hunting. GASP!!!!! When the @nd amendment is interpreted using the same logic as the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendment, the people, refers to individuals....... GASP!!!!!
Olbermann insisted that since the amendment was ratified in 1791, that people should be allowed to have any rifle or pistol in existence in 1791. Keith, I hate to tell you this, but in 1791, the Kentucky rifle, was the assault weapon of the time. The Minutemen, a militia of able bodies males, who weren't in the military were used to defeat the Regular British Army, using the most deadly rifle available at the time, i.e. Kentucky Rifle in 1791 equal M-16 today.
Keith using your logic, the internet, Cable, TV, and radio would not be protected by the 1st amendment because, they did not exist in 1787. Therefore, your very low rated cable opinion show would not be protected by the 1st amendment, if one were to use your opinion.

The past Saturday, 4-19-08, was the Lacrosse Day of Champions honoring former Duke University and Chaminade High School Jimmy Regan, an Army Ranger who died in combat in Iraq about a year ago. Regan, who lived in Manhasset, Long Island, New York, attended Chaminade High School and Duke University, and after 9/11 joined the Elite Army Rangers, was a multi-sport star athlete, who was in the process of applying for law school when 9/11 happened. He decided to change the direction of his life and enlisted in the Army with the goal of becoming a Army Ranger.

The Lacrosse Day of Champions was organized by his Father in memory of his son. Duke University played West Point at Manhasset High School. That game was followed by a game between Chaminade High School, a Catholic High School, playing Manhasset Public High School. Both teams are perennial ranked in the top 25 high school programs in the country.

Jimmy Regan was a man, who has great opportunities, who was so struck by the tragedy of 9/11, who walked away from it all to serve his country and paid the ultimate price. This the the character of the players recruited by Mike Pressler to play for Duke University.

And there is still a collective silence from the faculty, who condemed, slandered, and convicted these players based on a false allegation. All of us were taught by our parents to apologized for lying and mistreated others. This seems to be a lesson forgotten by the faculty of Duke University.

I can't wait for the deposition of the faculty and administration to start when the lawsuit by un-indicted players get rolling. Let's see how they compare to the likes of Jimmy Regan.

Backroom deal for the nomination

Imagine the following scenario.

Most pundits agree that neither candidate will be able to deliver the knockout punch to win the nomination by the time the convention rolls around in Denver. The Party Elders (i.e. Superdelegates) realize that if they throw their backing to either candidate, the party will split in two, since the elders did not back the "right" candidate. It will piss-off either the blacks or the feminists. Not a good position to be in. The Elders know they need the backing of both constituency to win the White House.

Obama will most likely have the most pledged delegates, so he won't drop out. Hillary has put up with too much crap to be remembered as a footnote in history and going back to the Senate would be too much of a let down. Her ego demands a legacy, something that will list her in history books, so she won't quit. Offering the VP to Hillary won't be enough for her ego, she remembers Algore and his non-legacy. Obama won't accept the Veep since he is leading in delegate and Hillary doesn't want to be upstaged everywhere they campaign by Obama,since Bill already does that.

What could be an offer she can't refuse? It has to be big enough for a legacy.

Associate Justice Hillary Clinton.

Granted she will be a bit on the older side, just over 60. Most candidate are desired to be in their early 50's for a long service on the bench. She is a "well respect" lawyer and should sail right through the Senate confirmation process. The radical groups who oppose all republican nominees by reflex would be happy. Obama would get a lot of accolades. And all the liberal special interest groups would be happy.

But most importantly, to her, she could legislate from the bench since she would only need 4 other votes. Not 59, 218, and a signature. Just 4.

Congress need to make a Solomon Amendment for earmarks,denying any earmarks to any State, County , or Municipality if they prohibit or prevent ROTC or military recruitment.

Theodore Olson, the lawyer and former solicitor general of the United States, who represented George W. Bush before the Supreme Court in 2000 in Bush v. Gore. has posted a very interesting Op/Ed Piece in the Wall Street Journal. He is predicting a lawsuit between Hillary vs. Obama over the delegate count. It could be possible that Hillary could win the popular vote and Obama wins the delegate count. Add on top of that, the Florida and Michigan delegates were disqualified by the Party for holding their primaries too early. Olsen writes, "The candidates agreed not to campaign in those states. But Sen. Clinton opted to keep her name on the Michigan primary ballot, and staged a primary-day victory visit to Florida, winning both of those unsanctioned primaries. Her campaign is arguing that the delegates she won in each state be recognized despite party rules." Her argument, "Count Every Vote."

This is Bush vs. Gore in Florida 2000, all over again. Olsen writes,

"We all know full well what could happen next. The array of battle-tested Democratic lawyers who fought for recounts, changes in ballot counting procedures, and even re-votes in Florida courts and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2000 would separate into two camps. Half of them would be relying on the suddenly-respectable Supreme Court Bush v. Gore decision that overturned the Florida courts' post-hoc election rules changes. The other half would be preaching a new-found respect for "federalism" and demanding that the high court leave the Florida court decisions alone.

Would the U.S. Supreme Court even take the case after having been excoriated for years by liberals for daring to restore order in the Florida vote-counting in 2000? And, would Justices John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer, the dissenters in Bush v. Gore, feel as strongly about not intervening if Sen. Obama was fighting against an effort to change a presidential election by changing the rules after the fact? Will there be a brief filed by Floridians who didn't vote in their state's primary because the party had decided, and the candidates had agreed, that the results wouldn't count?"

Add on top of the disqualified delegates, are the 796 'Superdelegates', who are "members of Congress and a menagerie of assorted elected officials and party Pooh-Bahs." Hillary is working the phone trying to woo these superdelegates to vote for her. If Hillary and Obama come to the convention essentially tied in delegate count and the nomination decided by a bunch of party insiders. "All those primary voters and millions in campaign expenses locked out of the room."

Olsen continues,

"... Democratic lawyers have undoubtedly kept copies of the legal briefs they filed for Al Gore in 2000 into which their computers can easily substitute the name Clinton for Gore.
If it does happen, I'd be more than happy to loan Sen. Obama the winning briefs that helped secure the election of the legitimate winner of the 2000 election, George W. Bush."

I have it on good authority, an inside source, the stretch of I-5 that was assigned to the San Diego Minutemen, as part of the Adopt-a-Highway program, was by chance. The Minutemen were trying to get another stretch of freeway to clean, for community service, but the section of freeway they were interested in was not available, so the people who assign sections of roads to groups looked for any other available section of freeway for the Minutemen to adopt. The story goes, the section of the I-5, where the Border Patrol Checkpoint is located, is not very popular among groups because there is very little exposure, i.e., not enough commuters see the sign listing your group. The Minutemen realized the irony of cleaning that section immediately when it was offered to them and took it.

The Minutemen had that section of road for several weeks, cleaned it at least once, and Caltran even has a sign made showing the Minutemen had adopted this section of the freeway.
There is some legitimate safety concerns, that the illegal immigrant advocacy groups will try and protest and close down that section of the freeway, like they did in downtown LA. But so what??? The Border Patrol and the CHP can detail anyone who is a traffic hazard and sort out if they are in this country illegally.

The only question is, does the CHP and Border Patrol have the guts to arrest the protesters and take flack from these same groups?

When I first heard the news, I was laughing all the way home during my commute home. A few weeks ago, the anti-illegal immigrant group, the San Diego Minuteman, was assigned a stretch of highway to clean up as part of the statewide Adopt-a-Highway program. Several states have similar program when groups apply for the right to clean up a stretch of highway in exchange for some publicity, mostly freeway signs naming the group. No big deal right, except they were assigned was a stretch of the I-5 that the US Border Patrol has a checkpoint. There are signs warning driver to beware of fleeing illegal immigrants running across the freeway. The irony was just too delicious.
As expected, several illegal alien rights groups protested! The Los Angeles Times, as usual, fails to mention the advocacy group are pro-illegal immigrants. These advocacy groups falsely claim that San Diego Minutemen should not be allowed to participate in the program, because the Minutemen advocate violence or discrimination. A claim which has never been proven. Several members of the Latino Caucus of the California Legislature met with CalTrans Officials before it was announced the Minutemen would be assigned to another stretch of state highway.
San Diego's District Director, Pedro Orso-Delgado, claims he will be reviewing the Minuteman's eligibility to be a member of the program, based on the accusations of these advocacy groups. NOT!!!!
He buckled under the pressure from the Latino Caucus. The Minuteman Group plans to sue, and I hope they win.

The results from Florida are in and looks like Guiliani, who gambled the farm on Florida and finished a distant third, will be dropping out of the race. John "Breck Girl" Edwards seems to ne hinting that he is out too.
So that leaves McCain and Romney on the Republican side and Hillary and Obama on the democrat side. Not much of a choice. McCain is now the front runner since he won all the delegate in Florida.

Thompson drops out, is Huckabee next?

After enough poor finishes, Fred Thompson has dropped out of the Presidential race. Kinda as expected. Huckabee has not won any primary or caucus since his surprise win in Iowa. McCain won in New Hampshire, as expected and pulled out a win in South Carolina. Romney won in Michigan and has has several strong showings. Guliani is betting the house on a win in Florida with tons or retired New Yorkers.

It has essentially become a two man race between McCain and Romney, until Guliani win in Florida, but early poll results are not encouraging. So who is the conservative base going to support?

McCain is almost a RINO, if not a bi-polar libertarian. He has become so enthralled with the favorable drive-by-media coverage as a "Independent Republican" that no conservative trusts him. McCain-Feingold Campaign Financing Reform, McCain-Kennedy Immigration shamnesty, and the "Gang of 14" judicial compromise group, are any of these behavior consistent with conservative principals? McCain does have a brave and amazing life story, as a fighter pilot, military hero, and former POW, but does that make him qualified to be President?

Mitt Romney, brilliant businessman, Salt Lake City Olympics CEO, and former Governor of Massachusetts, but will conservative trust the former governor of Massachusetts?

I will admit either is better than Hillary or Obama, but.......

Hillary Clinton's unexpected win in New Hampshire has the Drive-By-Media doing some self examination about the inaccuracy of the polls and Hillary's surprise win. Some pundits have blamed the "Bradley Effect" for error in the poll number.

The Bradley Effect refers to a race between a white candidate and a non-white one. "Specifically, there have been instances in which statistically significant numbers of white voters tell pollsters in advance of an election that they are either genuinely undecided, or likely to vote for the non-white candidate, but those voters exhibit a different behavior when actually casting their ballots. White voters who said that they were undecided break in statistically large numbers toward the white candidate, and many of the white voters who said that they were likely to vote for the non-white candidate ultimately cast their ballot for the white candidate. This reluctance to give accurate polling answers has sometimes extended to post-election exit polls as well." (From Wikipedia)

This effect is code for accusing large numbers of white voters of being bigots without the explosive charge. One minor fact when using this explanation regarding the voters in New Hampshire. It was a democratic primary. That means white democrats were lying to pollsters. Not eveil republicans, but white liberals.......

The Chargers' Playoff game win, another perspective

Being a Charger Fan, the win over the Titans has left me with mixed feelings. Yeah, a playoff win, the first in 14 years, but Boo, GM A.J. Smith may have made the right decision firing Marty Schottenheimer.

Faux Reality TV on MTV

MTV created a reality dating show, "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila", with a twist, the one looking for "True Love" is a 26 year old, bisexual, self made Internet Celebrity, Tila Tequila.

Predictably, the final three were a good looking guy, a lipstick lesbian, and a butch lesbian. All three demographics needed for maximum audience appeal. Tila chose the guy, a 25 year old male film student, Bobby Banhart. Part of the deal was that they could not date openly until the show aired 4 months later.

Apparently, it over before it ever started. Tila announced during the MTV New Year's Eve Party that she claimed Bobby broke up with her, but he state on his MySpace page, that "she never called me after the last show and no one would give me her number."

On January 4, MTV announced a second season of "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila". Here is another bit of news to confirm my belief it is a faux dating show, casting notices circulated online for a second season of A Shot at Love before the finale. It was over before it started.

I got to watch a few highlights of the 10/30/07 Democratic Presidential Debate. I really found the question and answer about driver's licence for illegal immigrants policy by New York's Governor, Eliot Spitzer the most amusing. One of the Debate Moderators, Tim Russert asked Hillary to answer a simple question, are for you or against driver licences for illegal immigrants. She was quoted in a New Hampshire newspaper that Spitzer's plan "makes a lot of sense."

Only after Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd came out against the license plan did Clinton attempt to clarify her position. "I just want to add, I did not say that it should be done, but I certainly recognize why Governor Spitzer is trying to do it," she said.

When Russert asked Clinton to pick a side, she accused him of playing "gotcha" - and her opponents used the chance to take a few more shots at her.

"Unless I missed something, Sen. Clinton said two different things in the course of about two minutes just a few minutes ago, and I think this is a real issue for the country," former North Carolina senator John Edwards said.

Added Senator Barack Obama of Illinois : "I can't tell whether she was for it or against it."

"You know, Tim, this is where everybody plays 'gotcha.'" replied Clinton.

Tim Russert is the first member of the Drive-By-Media to required Hillary to articulate what she believes. She has gotten a pass for so many years, regarding her positions, she was unable to give a definitive answer and was was embarrassed.

Here's the best part, her sycophants and spin doctor's are in damage control mode and trying to sell the idea that Russert is anti-Clinton. That he unfairly targeted her, sandbagged her.

I hate to tell you Dims, that has been Russert's MO for years. The only difference is that he actually did his job for a change when questioning a Dim. The reason why you are freaking out, is that the Drive-By-Media have been giving you Dims a pass for so long and not requiring you to defend and articulate your positions, that you don't know how to do it anymore.

Why you can't trust the word of a Democrat

It appears the nomination for Attorney General of Michael Mukasey is in trouble. Mukasey is a retired judge that was nominated by Bush as a "consensus" pick because the Administration did not want to choose a "Partisan" since they don't want a confirmation fight and has conceded to the Senate Dimocrats the AG position and will save a fight for a possible Supreme Court nomination.

Mukasey was such a consensus pick, that even Chuck "The Schmuck" Schumer even lauded his praises on Mukasey. Several predominate Conservatives warned the President that forcing embattled Former AG Alberto Gonzales to resign to make peace with the Democrats was a bad idea and was asking for trouble. Many conservatives, including me, wanted Ted Olsen nominated for the AG spot. Olsen is a well respected attorney who was the Solicitor General, the Attorney who represent the Government before the Supreme Court, and has been through and survived the confirmation process. Olsen's wife, Barbara was on the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11. There is little doubt about Olsen's legal credentials, but he has been charged as a "Partisan Republican Operative" by the likes of Schumer, Durban, Reid and others of similar ilk. So much for the pot calling the kettle black.

Anyway, it appears that Schumer may be backing away from his praises of Mukasey, since Mukasey won't call the interrogation technique of waterboarding illegal. The most infuriating thing about the Dims questioning of Mukasey is that Congress can pass a law making waterboarding illegal. They could possibly get a veto proof majority...... but that would require them to take a stand...... and responsibility!!!!... If some attack were to occur, with a terror suspect was in custody, who is believed to have that information, and someone let it be known that waterboarding would have gotten the information from the suspect....... The public would hold the Dims responsible. However, if the new AG determines that waterboarding is torture, therefore illegal, the ticking bomb scenario and the failure to prevent the attack would be blamed on the Administration.

As usual, the Dims want it both ways. Make the technique illegal, so people can be charge to applying it to a suspect and blaming the Administration if the don't stop an attack.

This just show that the Dims can't the trusted, especially Schumer, a partisan camera smug media whore, who would endanger the country for more power. You can't keep his word. He demanded the President choose a "consensus" nominee for AG, threaten to hold up the nomination id a "Partisan" was nominated, sung the praises of the "consensus" choice and then won't support the nominee if his views don't match Chucky's.

You know Chucky, if you want to be able to pick the AG and Associate Justices, is very simple, become the President. The Chief Executive, not 1 of 100 club.

Dirty Chinese Money and Hillary Clinton

The LA Times had an investigative piece last week about the campaign donations from poor workers in NY Chinatown areas. Hillary was able to raise $380,00 from one fundraiser from an area that John Kerry was able to raise only $24,00 during his entire campaign. The interesting bit was that dishwashers, waiters, cooks, and other low wage earners were making donations of $1000 to $2000, people who earning near the poverty line.

SO the LA Times tries to locate several of these contributors. About 1/3 can't be found. Either the addresses don't exist or the person who lives at the address never heard of the donator. The Clinton campaign responded to the Times article by pledging to return all the questionable donations.

Question: How you return money to people who don't exist, don't have an address, or can't be found?

So a nut job goes crazy in NYC attacking a restaurant worker and a woman walking her dog. He was carrying 4 large knives and actual changed knives during the middle on the stabbing frenzy of the dog walking lady. The knife wielding attacker was shot dead by an vacationing off-duty transit cop.

So I was wondering if the liberals will be proposing knife control laws and justify them with the following questions:

Why does anyone need more that 1 knife?
Isn't the only purpose of a knife to stab, cut, and chop?
Why does anyone need such a big knife?
Why should anyone need a concealed knife?
Why would anyone need to buy more than 1 knife every 30 days?
What wrong with a 10 day cooling off period before being allowed to purchase a knife?
What legitimate purpose would anyone need a knife for? They only hurt people.

And did anyone notice the knife wielding psycho was stopped by a person with a concealed gun? in NYC? Where one of the most restrictive gun laws prevent people from defending themselves.

I have been a Charger fan since I was in college during the Air Coryell Era with Dan Fouts, Kellen Winlsow, and Chuck Muncie. So when the Chargers went 14-2 last year, I was excited for another Superbowl Run. Then Th New England Patriots crushed the Charger at home. I figured that was OK. It took the Indianapolis Colts a few years to figure out how to win, how to beat the Patriots, and finally win a Superbowl.

So what happened during of off-season, the Offensive & Defensive Coordinators took head coaching jobs and the GM fired the Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer because they did get along. What??

Anyway, the GM, AJ Smith hired Norv Turner to be the new head coach, I was a bit worried, Turner has a lousy record as a head coach, but I figured, he is known as a offensive genius and he never had much talent at his two stops as Head Coach. Ok so you hire a great offensive coach for the team that was the the highest scoring team and Top 10 defensive team last year.
Smith wanted a new coach because he was tired of losing in the first round of the play-offs and he want to make sure everyone knew he was the Big Boss.

Well, you did AJ, the Chargers will not lose in the first round of the playoffs this year, because, they won't be in the playoffs. The Chargers are 1-3 in September, they lost only 2 games all of last season and have already lost 3 games by the fourth week of this season.

Turner has done to Ladanian Tomlimson, last season's MVP and single season touchdown record holder, what no defense has been able to do, STOP him.

Smith was the assist GM in Buffalo, when they went 0-4 in the Superbowl, so the local San Diego press the perfect nickname for Smith, "Lord of No Rings".

David Shuster, slimy liberal "news" reporter, stunt backfires

MSNBC Propagandist David Shuster tried to ambush a conservative member of Congress. The Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, was on "Tucker" to discuss the Moveon.org General Petraeus/Betray Us NY Times Ad. In the middle of the interview, he suddenly decided to go for the jugular and attack her by using dead soldier as his weapon.

“You represent a district in western Tennessee”, Shuster snarled. “What was the name of the last soldier from your district who was killed in Iraq?”

She didn't know the name of that soldier. So Shuster replied.

“Ok, his name was Jeremy Bohannon. He was killed August the ninth, 2007. How come you didn’t know the name?”

One problem, that soldier was from the neighboring district represented by John Tanner, a Democrat.

OOOOOOOOPSSSS!!!

Shuster issued an apology the next day on the show for providing the wrong name. Now Shuster may have a point, Rep. Blackburn probably should have known that name. But considering all the things that members of Congress has on their plate, that fact that shouldn't remember it of the top of her head, isn't that surprising.

I have a proposal for Shuster, I want you to ask every Democrat he interviews for the next few weeks and see if they know.

Tennie Pierce and the coward who run LA City Hall

It appears the Tennie Pierce "racial discrimination" case is NOT going to trial. The short version of this case is that a Black LA firefighter is claiming "racial discrimination" because some of the firefighters fed him some dog food with his spaghetti. This sounds horrible at first, but during a fireman's volleyball game he screamed "feed the big dog" during the match as he spiked the ball against the other team. For more info see these links here and here and here. Pierce wall a prankster to several other firefighters himself.

The bottom line is that the private law firm hired to try the case reported to the City Council that the firm was worried about "Downtown Juries" which is PC speak for black juries. The private law firm was worries that they would outright lose the case out due to racial solidarity between "Downtown Juries" and Pierce, just like the OJ case. In other words, they figure the black juries would ignore the evidence and pay Pierce since both were black.

So the linguine spined members of the City Council agreed to a settlement with Pierce for $1.5 million and the settlement was approved by Mayor Tony Villar. In addition they would pay the outside law firm $1.2 million for their "services" since the City Council has lost firm with the City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo. The settlement was negotiated by one of the members of the City Council.

Yesterday, Columbia hosted Iranian President Mahmoud Ah-MAD-dinejad as part of their World Leaders Forums. This appearance by the fanatical and delusional leader of Iran was widely criticized. Columbia President Lee Bollinger defended the appearance by promising "sharp challenges" to the Iranian President. Bollinger kept his promise by introducing Ah-MAD-dinejad himself with a a series of pointed questions which included questions about, academic crackdowns, women's rights, denial of the holocaust, Iran's nuclear ambitions, the destruction of Israel, funding terrorism, and fighting a proxy war with America. Ah-MAD-dinejad responding by accusing Bollinger of a "wave of insults and allegations" and avoiding any direct answers to any questions.

So what did the forum accomplish? I was a propaganda coup for Ah-MAD-dinejad in the Arab press. As usual, the Arab press lied about the Forums response and said Ah-MAD-dinejad received a "standing ovation of the audience that had attended the hall where the Iranian President was to give his lecture."

It also exposed the hypocritical nature and thought process of liberal academia. Academia understand the worldwide threat that Islamo-Fascism poses to the world. They understand the ramifications of a nuclear Islamic state and the threat it poses to this country. Yet, Academia, Hollywood, the Drive-By-Media, and the extreme left politicians in Congress view President Bush as the bigger threat.

This proves that the acquisition of power is more important to the Liberal in Congress than the security of the United States.

Columbia University: Ahmadinejad Yes, ROTC No

So the President of Iran has been invited to a question and answer forum at Columbia University and he will be questioned with "sharp challenges" from University President Bollinger. This is the same University President who opposed ROTC training on campus, even though a majority of students supported reinstating ROTC on campus. The main objection to the military on campus is the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy regard gays in the military.

But in Iran, under Sharia law, homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. So I guess the military need to change the policy, " Do Tell, Do Die," and it will be ok in the Ivy League.

Liberal MP Belinda Stronach, who is battling breast cancer, travelled to California last June for an operation that was recommended as part of her treatment, says a report.

Stronach's spokesman, Greg MacEachern, told the Toronto Star that the MP for Newmarket-Aurora had a "later-stage" operation in the U.S. after a Toronto doctor referred her.

"Belinda had one of her later-stage operations in California, after referral from her personal physicians in Toronto. Prior to this, Belinda had surgery and treatment in Toronto, and continues to receive follow-up treatment there," said MacEachern.

He said speed was not the reason why she went to California.

Instead, MacEachern said the decision was made because the U.S. hospital was the best place to have it done due to the type of surgery required.

So the a "U.S. hospital was the best place to have (the surgery) done." But how it that possible, the Canadian have a free healthcare system that is better than the one in the United States according to the like of Michael Moore and a bunch of Libs. The true irony is that a liberal member of Parliament from Canada had to come to California for s specific type of surgery that was not available in Canada..... But how can that be?????? Their system is better according to Michael Moore in SiCKO.......

Lerach is preparing to plead guilty as early as today to a single criminal conspiracy charge that could send him to prison for up to two years, according to sources familiar with the case.
I bet you won't find this info on the front page of most newspapers, another fact that papers will conveniently fail to mention, Lerach is huge supporter of the Democratic party. He, his wife, and his former firm donated over $1 million dollars to Democratic candidates since 1990.

One question that has not been addressed over the Norman Hsu campaign contribution scandal. Both of the Clintons are protected by the Secret Service (SS). I am sure the SS warned then about the fact that Hsu is a convicted felon. I think it is reasonable to assume that SS found that there was an outstand fugitive warrant for Hsu, since he did not report to jail in 1992.

So, who approved his access to the Clintons? The DNC? Hillary's Staff? Bill? Hillary, herself? Why was he not arrested by the Secret Service? Why hasn't the campaign been questions about this?

Norman Hsu misses court date

Norman Hsu, Hillary's and the Democratic Party's generous donor has missed this bail hearing date. Hsu, who has been a fugitive from justice in California for the past 15 years, was supposed to have a bail hearing regarding the money laundering and fraud case he plead guilty to in 1992. He never turned himself in for the 3 year prison term.

He was exposed as part of an investigation by the Wall Street Journal, which discovered that a blue collar family was donating money to Hillary faster than they were earning it. Their donation pattern match those of Mr. Hsu.

Hsu has listed himself as a fashion importer, but another blogger has done some research on the companies Hsu listed.

In campaign finance reports, Hsu's companies are listed as: Next Components Ltd., Cool Planets Ltd., Because Men's Clothes, and Dilini Management. But none of the companies have online footprints or appear in fashion industry directories that I have searched. The only official recognition of any of these companies that I have found is Next Components, in the form of a filing for a certificate of corporation with the New York Department of State, Division of Corporations -- but even that doesn't hold up to closer scrutiny. The filing was from May 6, 2005, and when I called the Division of Corporations, a representative there told me that the filing needed to be renewed every two years for a fee of $9, but Next Components never responded to the renewal notice.
The filing lists 561 Seventh Ave., Suite 1301 as the address for Next Components, but I called Handro Properties, the management company that runs the building, and was told that not only have they never heard of Next Components, but "Suite 1301" doesn't even exist.
As I reported yesterday, it turns out that an address Hsu listed in his campaign finance filings—455 Fifth Ave.—is the site of the Mid-Manhattan Library. I had a friend of mine who is a real estate broker in New York look into yet another address he listed—160 Wooster St., Apt 3C. That apartment does exist and it's a luxury 2 bedroom that sold for $1.85 million in June of 2004. However, it was sold again for an undisclosed price on November 15, 2005, and FEC records show that Hsu made political donations from that address both before and after that date. So unless he sold the apartment to himself, it's another unusual piece to the rather bizarre puzzle that is Norman Hsu.

So why hasn't the Drive-By Media asked a few pointed questions? From Flip Pidot:

Once upon a time, Ted Kennedy could count on his daily dose of veneration. The right wing hated the Massachusetts Democrat, but progressives honored him as a defender of old-school liberalism.
In a remarkable turnaround, liberals are now heaping scorn on the 73-year-old senator. Young audiences boo at his name, and the leftish "Daily Show" on Comedy Central makes fun of him.

The source of unhappiness is Kennedy's efforts to kill an offshore wind farm on Nantucket Sound. Cape Wind was to be the first such project in the United States and a source of pride to environmentally minded New Englanders. Polls show 84 percent of Massachusetts residents in favor. But now it appears that America's first offshore wind farm will be near Galveston, Texas.
Proposed the month before Sept. 11, 2001, Cape Wind remains in limbo. It's been frustrated at every turn by a handful of yachtsmen, Kennedy included, who don't want to see windmills from their verandas. Many millions have been spent spreading disinformation and smearing the wind farm's supporters.
The towers would be at least five miles out and barely visible from shore on the clearest day, but the summer plutocrats resent any intrusion on their waterfront vistas -- and, equally, any challenge to the notion that they control everything.

"But don't you realize -- that's where I sail!" may stand as Kennedy's most self-incriminating quote.
The sordid affair is documented in a funny and depressing book titled "Cape Wind: Money, Celebrity, Class, Politics and the Battle for Our Energy Future on Nantucket Sound." In it, authors Wendy Williams and Robert Whitcomb (full disclosure: Whitcomb is my editor at The Providence Journal) describe the bipartisan endeavor to betray America's environmental and energy interests -- and ignore the welfare of the year-round locals.

Kennedy did much of the dirty work in Washington, but he had considerable help. In 2004, Sen. John Warner, the Virginia Republican, added a last-minute rider to an urgent Iraq War funding bill that forbade the Army Corps of Engineers to spend money permitting offshore wind projects.

"Warner was dragging American troops into the Cape Wind war," Williams and Whitcomb noted. The outcry forced him to back down.

Why did Warner care so deeply about a wind-energy project in Massachusetts? Some of his fabulously wealthy relatives own choice waterfront property on Cape Cod. That's why.

Anchorage is 4,600 miles from Boston. And so what was this project to Rep. Don Young, the Alaska Republican? It was apparently an opportunity to exercise an old grudge against Theodore Roosevelt IV, the 26th president's great-grandson and a wind-farm supporter.

Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander also took an unusual interest in a venture far from his home state of Tennessee. Complaining that wind farms threaten "the wholesale destruction of the American landscape," Alexander introduced legislation that would have banned virtually all offshore wind projects in America. It turns out that Alexander owns a fancy piece of real estate on Nantucket Island.

Kennedy, however, remains the central focus of ire. Greenpeace has just launched an anti-Kennedy, pro-Cape Wind television ad campaign.

John Bullard, the former mayor of New Bedford and a Democratic stalwart, is loudly condemning the senator. His working-class city is downwind from one of the nation's dirtiest power plants. Cape Wind could help replace it.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers built a wind turbine along an expressway going into Boston and, next to it, a billboard promoting Cape Wind. The project would mean jobs for the Boston local, which runs a training center for wind technology.

After 45 years in the Senate, Kennedy should be polishing his liberal legacy. But his manipulative attacks on this wind farm have so sickened supporters that his long career may be headed for a sorry end.

So Republicans are denounced as hypocrites when their personal lives conflicts with their political views, but it's ok for Democrats? This doesn't pass the smell test.

Worker saw typical loops as lynch nooses, says upset alderman
The City of Germantown has fired three theater workers after another employee complained some stage-rope knots resembled lynching nooses.

However, at least one alderman is challenging the terminations as a knee-jerk reaction to a misunderstanding, and is working to get the firings reversed.
The Aug. 24 firing of Germantown Performing Art Centre's technical director, Matthew Strampe, and two part-timers occurred after another city employee apparently complained of a hostile work environment, city spokesman Stacey Ewell said.

"A few weeks ago there were some nooses tied in some ropes backstage," she said.

City Administrator Patrick Lawton fired the three after "extensive interviews" with people at GPAC, Ewell said.

But the firings left Alderman Carole Hinely "very disappointed."

Hinely sits on the GPAC Board of Directors as the alderman liaison.

She said the knots are typical looping knots that stagehands use to make it easier to grip the ropes.

The city had appropriated money to refurbish the stage floor, so the ropes had been pulled down to raise the curtain for the work, Hinely said.

The employee who complained did not work for GPAC and may not be familiar with the theater knots, she said.

The African-American employee who complained "looks up and sees these knots. They were loops looking I guess like a hangman's loop."

"These people did nothing, nothing, nothing wrong."

She described Lawton's actions as a "knee-jerk" reaction.

Lawton did not return a reporter's phone calls Tuesday.

Hinely said she talked to Lawton about the issue Tuesday morning.

His paper, the Daily Mirror, ran the headline in 2003: "You'd have to be an idiot to fall off, wouldn't you Mr President." It added: "If anyone can make a pig's ear of riding a sophisticated, self-balancing machine like this, Dubya can." So, it seems, can Mr Morgan.

He broke three ribs after falling off the Segway at 12mph in California - just three days before he was due to make his biggest TV appearance to date, as a judge on the grand final of reality show America's Got Talent.

Quite what he was doing on a Segway - labelled 'the geek machine' by critics - Morgan has yet to explain, but these pictures reveal the moment of the undignified crash.

He can be seen cruising comfortably along the promenade at Santa Monica beach. Inexplicably, his delicate sense of balance fails him. The Segway swerves to the right, mounting the kerb. Morgan's 'toned muscular, tanned, superfit torso' (as he describes it) continues straight along the road but sadly his feet remain planted to the rogue Segway.

Inevitably he falls victim to gravity and crunches on to the baking concrete, where he lies, agonised, until a companion can come to his rescue.

He had to be taken to hospital to be patched up, but despite his misfortune, Morgan made it to the TV studio. His celebrity friends have been chortling at his expense. Simon Cowell has urged people to make Morgan laugh because 'it causes Piers absolute agony'.

The GOP voter has the reputation of being outraged by scandalous behavior and then votes to scandal ridden politician out of office (Dan Crane) or shamed to resign (Bob Livingston, Mark Foley, Larry Craig). The Democrats stay in office and are usually re-elected (Gerry Studds, Barney Frank).

Knowing (and caring) nothing of Rove's religious views, I focused on other aspects of Moyers's over-the-top display. But Chris Wallace, in an interview of Rove, took the trouble to ask him whether he is an "agnostic" as Moyers asserted. This caused Moyers to crawl out from under his rock long enough to tell Wallace that his second-hand, hearsay sources know more about Rove's religious beliefs than Rove does. Which, in turn, prompted this response by Wallace (via Hot Air):

There comes a time, it seems to me, when a man has been so utterly discredited as a hateful ignoramus that, not only should he be shunned by all people of good will, he should even be cut off from taxpayer subsidies. Is there anything--anything at all--that is too low for PBS to countenance?

Chris Wallace shot at Moyers is one of the best zings about the liberal media I have heard in a long time. One has to wonder why Moyers left C-BS for PBS, lower standards, less oversight, rampant opinions instead of news, or just no expectations of profitability. One has to wonder why does PBS need to exist anymore. Sesame Street, Wall Street Week, and Masterpiece Theatre would probably survive on commercial TV. But the other stuff they sho on that channel? Moore pulls one of his typical stunts and takes several 9/11 first responders to Cuba to rightly embarrass the plight of these abandoned emergency workers.

There is one important question that someone needs to ask Michael Moore, if the Cuban healthcare system is so cutting edge and so good, why didn't Fidel Castro, when he fell gravely ill last year, use a Cuban doctor, but a specialist flown in from -- Spain??

Ann Coulter ant the latest example of Media hypocrisy

Ann Coulter was on the low rating MSNBC show "Softball with Chrissy Matthews" earlier in the week to discuss the release of the paperback version of best seller "Godless" and Elizabeth Edwards called in to "ask Miss Coulter to be nicer to her husband. This was in response to the comment Coulter mead the previous day on "Good Morning America". Ann was being questioned about some comments she made about John Edwards masculinity and replied,

"Oh yeah, I wouldn't insult gays by comparing them to John Edwards. That would be mean. But about the same time - you know - Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. So I've learned my lesson. If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot."

Now, Edwards is now using the last part of the quote as a fund raiser, "Ann Coulter hopes a terrorist will kill me". sand so on. Many media pundit and critics have bashed and slammed Coulter for her comment, but seemed to miss the context, as usual. Where's the outrage by the media about Bill Maher wishing the Veep was killed? Why didn't John Edwards question Coulter himself? Why did Elizabeth do it on her own without asking John? Why are the using the incomplete quote? Why aren't the media asking Edwards of the use on the incomplete quote?

Why? Why? Why?

Is John afraid of confronting Ann? Why did Chris Matthews, who interrupts everyone and never lets them answer, allow Mrs. Edwards to make the accusation without questioning the context?

Oh that's right, Matthews, Maher, and the Edwards are democrats........ Coulter is an evil Republican ......... I almost forgot.
